About the position

The Lab Technician I position at Pace® Analytical Services is a full-time role focused on supporting laboratory sample-related activities within an environmental testing laboratory. The technician will engage in sample preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance while ensuring compliance with lab support policies. This role offers comprehensive training and opportunities for career growth in laboratory sciences.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting and remain standing for long periods while conducting tests.
• Ability to work around strong smells and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.
