About the position

The Lab Technician - Analytical Chemistry position involves supporting the development and validation of testing methodologies for raw materials and products in a regulated environment. The role requires conducting analytical tests, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and collaborating with a team of professionals in a fast-paced laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in developing and validating testing methodology for raw materials, production intermediates, and final products.
• Helping establish, validate, and document new or existing compound identification methods.
• Conducting testing of analytical samples, including separation and characterization of protein drug candidates and formulation development.
• Conducting work in compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Providing analysis and evaluation of materials and products at all stages of the development process.
• Understanding and operating FTIR spectroscopy, ICP-MS, XRF, and UV-Vis spectroscopy, and employing gravimetric analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, or a related field in the medical device or healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of FDA, ISO, and other applicable regulatory requirements for medical devices.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with electronic document management systems is a plus.
