About the position
The Apple MAC Lab Technician role involves working on the critical path of next-generation Mac portables and desktops. This position is responsible for testing and supporting factory software readiness activities, ensuring the quality and functionality of numerous test units through both manual and automated testing processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily test execution following detailed test procedures.
- Collect data from a large number of devices under test and prioritize findings.
- Identify product defects and document test results.
- Fix test equipment, test setups, and automated tests.
- Coordinate with QA engineers to analyze test data and run further experiments.
Requirements
- Laboratory experience in a relevant field.
- Mid-level customer support experience related to Mac.
- Ability to work with Mac system software and hardware functions.
- Strong documentation skills on technical subjects.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse engineering teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with automated testing tools.
- Familiarity with regression testing processes.
