About the position
The Lab Technician position is designed for fresh graduates in Biochemistry, Biology, or Chemistry to join the Specialty Reagents In-Vitro Production team. The role focuses on producing antibody raw materials, requiring a combination of technical skills and adherence to quality standards in a controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare nutrient supplements for antibody production.
- Set up equipment and operate autoclaves as needed.
- Harvest and purify antibody material using specialized equipment.
- Monitor and control production processes while maintaining quality records.
- Complete tasks aseptically to prevent microbial contamination.
- Document all processes accurately in quality records and worksheets.
- Check SAP for approval of raw materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, or Chemistry or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in aseptic techniques.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Good PC skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with Windows environment and related software.
Nice-to-haves
- Willingness to learn about new software and hardware solutions.
- Ability to assist technical support in problem identification and solution implementation.
