In this role, you will be responsible for developing test systems using LabVIEW software for both internal and external customer projects. Your work will involve designing, modifying, and creating test systems that incorporate electronics hardware and LabVIEW software. Typical projects will require you to implement automation and test sequence management, manage closed-loop control of multiple mechanical systems, and perform data acquisition and signal processing for both time-based and event-based signals. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and verify LabVIEW software and control algorithms to meet requirements, including front-end/graphical user interface (GUI) development.
  • Design and develop system wiring, including wiring schematics, conductor, connector, and terminal selection.
  • Perform system testing and troubleshooting, ensuring a test system meets requirements.
  • Capture and document customer system/hardware/software requirements.
  • Specify, design, and develop test system electronics hardware, sensors, and actuators.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in LabVIEW software development and control algorithms.
  • Experience in designing and developing wiring schematics and system wiring.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for system testing.
  • Ability to capture and document technical requirements effectively.
  • Experience in specifying and designing electronics hardware, sensors, and actuators.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with automation and test sequence management.
