About the position

Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney for a national law firm. This is a contract remote role requiring part-time hours, specifically 20-25 hours a week, with the possibility of increased hours leading up to a trial. The position is expected to last approximately 5-6 months, with a trial scheduled for late January or early February.

Responsibilities

• Conduct labor and employment litigation.
• Perform investigations related to labor and employment cases.
• Track down factual issues and resolve them by finding and interviewing relevant individuals.
• Think creatively to gather necessary information.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience with labor & employment litigation, preferably with California fair employment and housing cases.
• Experience conducting investigations.

Nice-to-haves

• Licensed to practice law in a state where the firm has an office.
• Ability to work creatively and think outside the box.
