This position is for a legal professional specializing in employment law, particularly in Wage & Hour class actions and compliance litigation. The role involves representing clients in various employment-related legal matters, including drafting and negotiating employment agreements, conducting due diligence, and providing legal counsel to organizations as they navigate complex employment issues. Responsibilities

  • Handle Wage & Hour class actions, including opposition strategy, fact development, briefing, and argument.
  • Manage employment law compliance litigation, focusing on trade secrets, employee mobility, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, harassment, and whistleblower cases.
  • Prepare and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and other personnel-related contracts.
  • Conduct due diligence and draft employment-related agreements in the context of corporate M&A transactions.
  • Demonstrate outstanding research and analytical skills, along with strong writing capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bar Admission in California is required for application to the position.
  • Experience in Wage & Hour class actions and employment law compliance litigation is essential.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills are imperative.
  • Excellent leadership skills and a strong work ethic are necessary.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Labor and Employment Law is preferred.
