About the position

The Labor Compliance - Prevailing Wage Certified Payroll Associate at RCCI dba Ramirez Company is responsible for maintaining certified payroll records and labor compliance documents. This full-time position requires meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills to interact with team members and external parties. The role involves supporting various labor compliance functions and assisting the department manager with tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate labor compliance and certified payroll requirements per the contract
• Set up projects with all requirements as needed
• Maintain company labor compliance log with daily updates
• Maintain and review certified payroll records and other labor compliance documents as required
• Analyze and locate payroll errors and notify need of correction
• Monitor labor compliance emails and identify urgent issues
• Familiar with Department of Industrial Relations process and locate necessary information
• Verify how prevailing wage is determined per the Department of Industrial Relations
• Assist with overall needs of the labor compliance department
• Send out DAS 140's per craft
• Oversee sub-contractor compliance documentations and CPR's
• Assist the department manager with various tasks as needed

Requirements

• 8 years experience in prevailing wage certified payroll and labor compliance
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts and government regulations
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word, DIR & LCP Tracker preferred
