About the position

The Labor Coordinator for Site Operations at Dynamic Event Co. will oversee the labor force during the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, ensuring efficient site operations and team management. This role involves coordinating with site management, motivating the team, and addressing any labor-related issues that arise during events. The position is full-time and contract-based, with a focus on maintaining quality standards and effective communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the site build teams, including site operations, clean-up crew, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment).
• Collaborate with site management to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.
• Motivate and inspire the team to achieve their best performance.
• Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders involved in the event.
• Coordinate on-site labor operations, ensuring workers perform their duties safely and efficiently.
• Address any labor-related issues or conflicts that arise during events.
• Track and record labor hours accurately for payroll processing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor coordination or a related field, preferably in the events industry.
• General knowledge of quality standards in event management.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-solving aptitude, resourceful and adaptable in resolving labor-related challenges.
• Proficiency in technology and comfortable learning new software and scheduling tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with F1 Miami Grand Prix or Hard Rock Stadium.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Experience with Smartsheet.
