About the position

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney for a temporary position with an AmLaw 200 firm. The role is remote but candidates must reside in California, Washington, or Oregon. The attorney will be involved in labor and employment litigation, particularly focusing on cases related to California fair employment and housing. The position is expected to last for 5-6 months, with a trial scheduled for late January or early February, and requires a commitment of 20-25 hours per week, potentially increasing as the trial date approaches.

Responsibilities

• Track down factual issues related to labor and employment cases.
• Analyze factual issues and resolve them, which may include finding and interviewing individuals.
• Prepare for trial scheduled for late January/early February.

Requirements

• 4+ years of labor & employment litigation experience.
• Experience with California fair employment and housing cases is preferred.
• Investigation experience is preferred, particularly in tracking down factual issues.
• Must be actively licensed and in good standing in California, Washington, or Oregon.
