About the position

The Labor Relations Director/Paralegal position at Ramo Law focuses on labor relations, specifically working with guilds such as WGA, SAG, and DGA. The role involves advising clients on union contract compliance, handling grievances, and supporting union contract administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor relations and legal drafting, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients regarding union contract compliance for assigned bargaining units and/or assigned topics.
• Advise clients regarding discipline of union employees, including cause standards, investigations, and rights to union representation.
• Handle union grievances through the pre-arbitration phase, as assigned.
• Act as the initial point of contact for union inquiries; triage, research, respond, and resolve as assigned.
• Support and execute union contract administration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant labor relations experience
• Proficiency with web-based databases and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel & Power Point

• Solid administrative skills, attention to detail, and organization
• Ability to manage high-volume and time-sensitive workload
