About the position

The Laboratory Account Executive at Atrium Health is responsible for driving strategic initiatives to enhance healthcare-related sales with employers. This role focuses on promoting the facilities and services offered by Atrium Health, increasing awareness among employers and their employees, and generating new business opportunities within assigned territories. The executive serves as the primary contact for employers, facilitating access to a wide range of services and ensuring effective market penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sales and service initiatives and integrate sales protocols throughout assigned territories.
  • Identify viable prospects for business development within target areas and industries, incorporating relevant research.
  • Act as a facilitator between the System's departments and employers regarding services provided.
  • Service existing clients to ensure collaborative relationships and support client retention.
  • Provide leadership-level representation at high-stakes meetings with prospects and clients.
  • Use effective questioning strategies to understand employers' current situations and uncover business objectives.
  • Develop and communicate action plans that meet employers' objectives.
  • Meet weekly and monthly goals for contacts, appointments, and contracts signed, conducting facility tours as necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of facilities, programs, and services to adequately represent them to clients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare-related sales or marketing preferred.
