About the position
Franciscan Health Mooresville is seeking a dedicated individual to join our laboratory team. This position involves specimen collection, processing, and the analysis, evaluation, and reporting of waived and moderately complex laboratory test results. The successful candidate will adhere to established departmental procedures and professional standards to ensure the provision of appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner. The role is crucial in advancing the health, wellness, and continuity of care in the communities we serve, as part of one of the largest integrated laboratory networks in the Midwest region, which includes 32 hospitals and multiple physician offices.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for specimen collection and processing.
- Analyze, evaluate, and report waived and moderately complex laboratory test results.
- Ensure compliance with established departmental procedures and professional standards.
- Provide appropriate specimens and accurate data in a timely manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Twelve (12) to eighteen (18) months of related experience is preferred.
- Background in medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is required.
