About the position

The part-time Laboratory Helper position at Dr. Zhao Wang Lab involves assisting with various laboratory tasks, including tomogram interpretation and data organization. This role is designed for individuals looking to contribute to scientific research while working approximately 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Prepares standard solutions and simple culture media.
• Assists with the imaging analysis and interpretation of cellular tomogram, data storage and organization.
• Assists with protein production, culture cell, cryoET data analysis.
• Runs cell morphological segmentation.
• Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• No experience required.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic understanding of cellular structure and EM imaging is desired for this role.
