About the position

The Laboratory Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing laboratory operations, including instrument onboarding, validation, and maintenance. This role ensures compliance with GMP standards and facilitates communication between internal and external teams to maintain efficient lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordination and management of instrument onboarding and validation
• Facilitating instrument preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs
• GMP record keeping
• Chamber management
• Lab safety and housekeeping
• Software validation
• Coordinate activities with internal and external operations and service teams, service providers, IT, site quality, and analysts to ensure lab operation activities are completed and compliant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related subject area
• Minimum of 1 year related industry experience managing laboratory equipment
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral)
• Ability to work in a cross-functional customer-focused environment
• Demonstrated ability to drive completion of activities in a timely manner
• Experience with lab operation activities in a GMP environment
• Ability to work with limited guidance to plan, execute, and follow through with work assignments
