About the position
Fieldale Farms is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform laboratory analyses to determine the chemical, physical, or microbiological characteristics of food products, agricultural, and environmental samples. This full-time position involves working in a lab environment, focusing on microbiology and quality control.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory analyses on food products and environmental samples.
- Prepare microbiology reagents and maintain laboratory instruments.
- Conduct quality control and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school in science or related lab experience.
- Bachelor's degree and microbiology experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in microbiology preferred.
- At least 1 year of laboratory experience preferred.
