About the position
The Laboratory Technician will assist in various tasks associated with the Analytical Laboratory, focusing on Quality Control and Analytical Research & Development in a biopharmaceutical setting. The role involves performing analytical laboratory testing in a cGMP environment and preparing necessary solutions and reagents for experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical laboratory testing in a cGMP environment.
- Prepare solutions and reagents for experimentation as required.
- Follow instructions from the immediate supervisor for day-to-day activities and schedule.
- Perform quantitative and/or qualitative analyses on samples.
- Follow written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monographs, and methods.
- Use various analytical equipment such as HPLC, Dissolution Apparatus, Karl Fisher, Laser Diffraction PSD, and Aerodynamic PSD.
- Document methods and results into laboratory notebooks and logbooks.
- Follow safe laboratory practices.
- Maintain chemical reagents and supplies for analytical chemistry work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory preferred.
