About the position

Sundt Construction Inc. is seeking a Laborer to assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties within the industrial/commercial construction industry. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and quality work, contributing to the company's culture of employee ownership and long-term prosperity for clients and communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled craft workers in performing their assigned duties.
• Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision.
• Demonstrate effective math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage, and time.
• Ask a supervisor for clarification on work or safety practices when unsure.
• Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
• Safely and effectively use or operate work-related tools and equipment.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Produce high-quality work safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available for the work.

Requirements

• NCCER Core Curriculum and/or a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• One year experience (level I), two years' experience (level II), and three plus years' experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry is preferred.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
