As a Laborer in Construction, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with Superintendents, Blasting Supervisors, and Drill Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for adhering to company safety procedures and policies, ensuring that all tasks are performed with the utmost care and attention to detail. You will be required to submit accurate and signed time cards weekly to the Blaster or Foreman, and you will quickly learn the safety aspects of working on construction sites, especially around explosives. The ability to take direction and perform construction laboring activities is essential, as is the capability to work unsupervised on occasion. Your tasks will include pumping blast holes dry, loading and unloading explosives, carrying buckets of stemming stone, and maintaining a clean and organized job site. Participation in monthly Foreman meetings and daily safety briefings is also expected, along with other duties as assigned.
