About the position

The position involves representing the Company with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics". The role actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values". Responsibilities include performing duties within a precise limit or standard of accuracy (Quality Control), working from drawings and blueprints, and performing Turnaround duties when required. The individual must be able to work independently after being properly directed by a foreman and lead helpers and laborers through the job safely. Additionally, the role requires selecting the proper tools and equipment to complete a job, working well with supervision, and potentially training and supervising apprentices. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties within a precise limit or standard of accuracy (Quality Control).
• Works from drawings and blueprints as required.
• Performs Turnaround duties when required.
• Works independently after being directed by a foreman.
• Leads helpers and laborers through the job safely.
• Selects proper tools and equipment to complete a job.
• Works well with supervision.
• Trains and supervises apprentices as required.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Zero (0) to four (4) years in refinery maintenance experience.
• Participation in the apprenticeship program for up to four (4) years.
• Understanding of refinery maintenance type work and knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Completion of Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, and Client/Site specific training.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must obtain and maintain an active status within the appropriate drug testing program.
• Must have a TWIC card.
• Must have a 20-hour high hazard facility training card.
• Must produce a High School diploma or GED and have a valid driver's license.
