Responsibilities

• Lays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections, including clay, concrete, and other types of pipe for water/gas main and sanitary sewer systems.
• Operates a variety of hand and power tools, including drills and hammers, as directed by management.
• Performs physical labor tasks as instructed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• 1 year of verifiable experience preferred.
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds/ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
• Possess a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may involve standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
