About the position

The Laborer - Plumbing Helper position at American Leak Detection involves assisting with plumbing repairs in a laborer capacity. The candidate will work under the direction of a field manager or plumber and has the opportunity to grow within the company by gaining skills in leak detection and plumbing-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with plumbing repairs in a laborer capacity.
• Dig minor trenches and access holes.
• Operate chipping and/or jackhammer and/or concrete saw cutter.
• Break out concrete access holes and trenches.
• Mix concrete and apply concrete patches.
• Repair rebar prior to patching.
• Work collaboratively on repair projects under supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Good customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift, push, pull reasonable weight.
• Experience with concrete patching and deck repair.
• Ability to use field-related software apps on iPad.
• Good written communication skills.
