About the position

As a Laborer at P&J, you will play a vital role in the construction and installation of foundations for transmission lines and substations. This position is essential for supporting the construction team in various tasks that are critical to the successful completion of projects. You will be involved in site preparation, which includes clearing, excavating, and leveling sites to ensure they are ready for foundation work. Your responsibilities will also include handling and transporting construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the worksite, which is crucial for maintaining an efficient workflow on-site. In addition to site preparation, you will support Concrete Finishers by assisting in setting up forms, pouring concrete, and applying finishing touches to the foundations. This role requires you to follow instructions from supervisors and experienced workers closely, adapting to various tasks as needed to meet project demands. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and your team. You will also have the opportunity to operate basic hand and power tools under supervision, which will help you develop your skills in the construction field.
