About the position
The Laborer position at McHugh Concrete Construction, Inc. involves a variety of tasks essential for the preparation and maintenance of construction sites. The primary responsibility is to clean and prepare these sites for the erection of structures and buildings. This includes unloading and loading materials, tending to machines, mixing and pouring concrete, and assisting carpenters, operating engineers, and other construction site workers. The role is crucial in ensuring that the construction process runs smoothly and efficiently. In addition to the core responsibilities, the Laborer will be involved in various tasks such as participating in demolitions, removing trees and debris, and using spray guns for the application of materials to ceilings or walls. The position also requires the installation of traffic control devices and the clearing and preparation of highway work zones. Pouring concrete and asphalt onto roads is another critical aspect of this role. The Laborer must be physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and fit-for-duty test, as safety is a top priority in our operations. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Ability to assist in building structures for residential, business, and construction sites.
- Experience in working and participating in demolitions.
- Ability to mix concrete and pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, or plaster.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen and Fit for duty test.
