The Laborer position involves performing general maintenance and repair tasks on equipment and buildings, requiring practical skills and knowledge in various trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work. The role is essential for ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and operational, contributing to a safe and functional environment for all users. The Laborer will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors, as well as using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings. Additionally, the Laborer will repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets, paint structures and equipment, and repair or replace concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks. Other responsibilities include replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles, hanging doors, installing door locks, and replacing broken windowpanes. The Laborer will also perform general maintenance on equipment and machinery, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This position may require the individual to take on other duties as assigned by supervisors or leads, adapting to the needs of the workplace as they arise.
