About The Position
HK Contractors, a CRH company, is seeking General Laborers to join our team in Idaho Falls, Idaho. As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various construction activities, including highway, utility, and grading tasks. This position requires a commitment to safety and the ability to perform a variety of manual tasks under the direction of a supervisor. You will work in diverse environments, assisting with the preparation of ground surfaces, operating equipment, and ensuring that work areas are safe and organized. Your contributions will be vital in helping us achieve our goal of delivering quality construction services while maintaining a strong focus on employee empowerment and development. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ground surfaces for road building, operating ground compactors, and setting up safety measures such as fencing and barricades. You will also assist in the application of asphalt, ensuring that it is leveled and properly placed. Additionally, you will perform utility labor tasks, including hand digging trenches for pipes and utility lines, and assisting with the installation of shoring materials. As a Grade Laborer, you will engage in groundwork activities, including cutting concrete and assisting with grading tasks. If you are assigned to the Crusher Laborer position, you will be involved in machinery maintenance, repairs, and ensuring the cleanliness of the crusher machinery area.
