About The Position
Reporting to the Assistant City Manager, under general direction and in collaboration with the Human Services Coordinator, the Lacey Veteran Services Hub (LVSH) Coordinator assists in planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily operations and strategic initiatives of this City-operated facility. This includes, but is not limited to, managing volunteer activities; coordinating service-provider partnerships and community outreach; ensuring policy compliance; and maintaining the facility. The LVSH assists Veterans, Active Military, National Guard, Reserves, and their families in Thurston County to connect with resources through third-party providers, including benefits, employment, housing, finance, behavioral health, education, nutrition, healthcare, and legal services. The LVSH is a one-stop shop for the needs of veterans and their families, and the facility's primary service area encompasses Thurston County.
