About the position
The Girls' Lacrosse JV Coach at Old Saybrook High School is responsible for leading and developing the junior varsity lacrosse team. This role involves coaching student-athletes, promoting teamwork, and ensuring a positive and competitive environment. The coach will also be responsible for maintaining safety standards and compliance with training requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the junior varsity girls' lacrosse team.
- Develop practice plans and game strategies.
- Promote teamwork and sportsmanship among players.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and games.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
Requirements
- Valid CT Coaching Certificate #600 or proof of application.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Completion of concussion training.
