About the position

The Lake Management Specialist at McCloud Aquatics is responsible for providing lake and pond management solutions to various freshwater bodies in the Chicago-land area. This role involves maintaining healthy water ecosystems through strategic planning, customer service, and adherence to environmental regulations. The specialist will operate in designated areas, ensuring efficient service delivery while fostering positive relationships with clients and promoting additional company services.

Responsibilities

• Perform aquatic services in accordance with EPA guidelines and company policies.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Proactively solve customer problems and concerns.
• Introduce self and company to new businesses in assigned territory.
• Maintain company vehicle, boat, trailer, and all issued equipment.
• Document service work as per company policy and procedures.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of various aquatic plant vegetation and treatments.
• Attend all company training sessions.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen or authorized alien to work in the United States.
• Free of illegal drug use.
• Accomplished swimmer.
• Intermediate skill level on computers.
• Valid motor vehicle operator's license with no more than 1 speeding ticket in the last three years.
• Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous lake/pond management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
