About the position

The Salvagnini Operator position at Dalsin Industries Inc. is a full-time role focused on the operation and setup of automated Salvagnini MV/S4/P4 panel bending equipment. The operator will be responsible for various tasks including shipping, receiving, material handling, and steel warehousing, while ensuring quality and process orientation. This role requires technical expertise in fabrication processes and Epicor ERP systems, with an emphasis on collaboration and communication within a small team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up the Salvagnini MV/S4/P4 production system.
• Manage material warehouse operations including loading and inventory of raw materials.
• Interact efficiently with WMS software and graphical interfaces.
• Operate punching systems, including tooling loading and maintenance.
• Conduct shear unit operations and manage loading conveyors.
• Program loading and running production programs in various conditions.
• Operate bending systems and manage tooling and accessories.
• Perform inspections to ensure parts meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with shipping/receiving departments for accurate paperwork.
• Conduct periodic inventory cycle counts and assist in annual physical inventory counts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing job shop.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced computer skills.
• Advanced blueprint reading and inspection experience.
• Forklift and material handling experience.

• Experience with CNC controls and mechanical knowledge.
