About the position
Lamb Weston is accepting applicants for its Summer Internship Program for 2025. This program offers a robust paid internship experience where interns will be assigned a mentor and a department based on their career goals and background knowledge. Interns will work on a final capstone presentation that focuses on their main project and its direct impact on the business. The internship runs from May to August, with actual dates varying. Interns will gain real-world experience through dynamic projects, network with executives and department leaders, and receive guidance and feedback from their assigned mentor throughout the program. The program includes various fields such as Agricultural Science, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, Manufacturing, Safety, Environmental Science, Food Science, Marketing, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a paid internship program with assigned mentor and department.
- Work on a final capstone presentation based on main project.
- Gain real-world working experience through assigned projects.
- Network and collaborate with peers and department colleagues.
- Attend professional development events.
Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled or a recent graduate of a bachelor's or master's degree program.
- Demonstrated interest or skill in the area related to the internship.
- Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem-solving, and conflict management.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong computer competency, particularly with MS suite of products.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
