As the Land Acquisition and Entitlement Manager at CPS Land, LLC, you will be instrumental in identifying and securing strategic land opportunities for our residential development projects. Negotiating contracts will be a key responsibility, where you will work alongside CPS Project Managers to secure land purchases, prepare and review purchase agreements, and track key dates and milestones. Building and maintaining relationships will be crucial, as you will establish strong connections with builders, landowners, real estate agents, city staff members, elected officials, and other key stakeholders. You will represent the company professionally and build a network of contacts to support acquisition efforts. Additionally, you will oversee and coordinate due diligence activities, including site assessments, environmental studies, yield studies, preliminary engineering, and legal reviews, ensuring that all necessary evaluations are completed thoroughly. Maintaining project schedules will also be part of your responsibilities, as you prepare and maintain overall project timelines to ensure that all team members work together to achieve company goals. Collaborating with Project Managers and Partners will be essential to achieving company objectives and successfully acquiring properties. Staying informed about local real estate market trends and property values will help you make informed decisions and recommendations.
