About the position

The Land Acquisition Internship at Meritage Homes offers a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in the homebuilding industry while gaining hands-on experience in land acquisition processes. Responsibilities

• Learn the land acquisition process including searching for land, identifying land, underwriting the land, and the closing processes.
• Conduct market research and financial analysis to support land acquisition decisions.
• Participate in cross-functional projects involving other interns and business leaders.
• Present real-world business recommendations to senior leadership.
• Write a paper focusing on the internship experience or another assigned topic.
