About the position

The Land Acquisition Manager will be responsible for identifying and acquiring land for development projects, focusing on master planned communities and real estate development. This role requires collaboration with the development team to ensure acquisitions align with the company's strategic goals, along with maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as landowners and government officials.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities
• Negotiate land acquisitions and manage the due diligence process
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that all land acquisitions meet the company's strategic goals and objectives
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, brokers, and government officials
• Stay up-to-date on zoning and land use regulations and market trends

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in land acquisition and development
• Strong understanding of zoning and land use regulations
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Experience working with government officials and agencies
• Market analytical skills
• Strong experience with Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience in acquiring land for master planned communities
