The Land Acquisition Manager in the renewables industry is a regional leadership position responsible for the acquisition, management, and optimization of land assets for renewable energy projects, such as wind, solar, storage, and hydrogen facilities. The role also requires conducting thorough due diligence on potential land acquisitions, which includes title searches, environmental assessments, and understanding permitting requirements. The manager will evaluate landowners' willingness to participate in renewable energy projects and will build and maintain positive relationships with landowners, local communities, government authorities, and other stakeholders. A key aspect of this role is to understand relevant aspects of storage and renewable energy and successfully educate landowners about the projects, addressing their concerns and providing information about the benefits of the projects.
