In this role, the manager will utilize online appraisal district maps and municipal maps to gather essential information about specific sites, including utilities, zoning, topography, and entitlement status. Maintaining a detailed tracking log of viable tracts and comparable transactions is vital for assessing the market landscape. The manager will utilize tools like Google Earth to create exhibits and track land opportunities, incorporating critical data such as utility information and floodplain details into these exhibits. Additionally, the manager will assist the land team in preparing financial proformas, conducting residual analyses to determine appropriate offer prices, and updating these proformas as assumptions change. The Land Acquisition Manager will create reports from market research resources to understand consumer preferences and assist in preparing Letters of Intent (LOIs) based on discussions with acquisition leadership.
