Collaboration with the development team is essential to create and execute plans for the use of acquired land. The Land Acquisition Manager will also work with local government agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals for land development. Managing the closing process for land acquisitions, including coordinating with attorneys, title companies, and other parties, is a key responsibility. Staying informed on market trends and changes in zoning and land use regulations is crucial for success in this role. Regular updates and reports to upper management on the progress of land acquisitions will be expected, along with overseeing and managing junior team members as needed.
