About the position

The position is responsible for locating, researching, and contracting new land suitable for acquisition and development. This role plays a crucial part in the growth of PulteGroup by ensuring that the company can secure land for future residential projects, thereby contributing to the American Dream of homeownership.

Responsibilities

• Locate land suitable for acquisition and development by conducting necessary market research and due diligence.
• Determine land values in the specific market by checking like property sales through public records, developers, and other professional affiliates.
• Negotiate and contract land acquisition.
• Coordinate land entitlement and planning activities with Development personnel.
• Coordinate governmental review.
• Review and monitor purchase agreements.
• Coordinate joint venture agreements or joint venture management agreements, as appropriate.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License because driving is an essential function of this position.
• Minimum of 3 years related functional experience.
