About the position

The Land Acquisitions Manager at LGI Homes is responsible for securing multi-million-dollar development deals through the acquisition of residential lots and land in Virginia. This role involves negotiating and executing contracts for land acquisitions, underwriting all acquisitions according to LGI standards, and managing acquisition budgets and costs. The position also includes recruiting, training, and managing additional staff as needed, contributing to the company's legacy of homebuilding excellence.

Responsibilities

• Secure multi-million-dollar development deals through land acquisitions.
• Negotiate and execute contracts for land acquisitions.
• Underwrite all acquisitions according to LGI Homes standards.
• Manage potential acquisition budgets and costs.
• Recruit, train, and manage additional staff as needed.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in the homebuilding industry.
• Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.
