About the position

The Land Analyst position at Lennar involves working closely with the Vice President of Land Acquisition and the Land Transaction Manager to conduct financial analyses, prepare market studies, and support the acquisition and disposition of land assets. The role is crucial in ensuring the financial viability of projects and requires a strong understanding of real estate and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis for quarterly and annual Division Business Plans.
• Prepare gross revenues, profit margins, and cash flow forecasts.
• Assist in financial feasibility analysis for acquisitions.
• Prepare underwriting proformas and financial documentation for assets.
• Conduct asset sales pricing analysis and formulate financial deal points.
• Implement and maintain a computerized financial proforma model.
• Collaborate with management to recommend optimum financial plans.
• Maintain a market analysis database for project feasibility analysis.
• Visit competitive sites to analyze pricing and features.
• Assist in the Greenfolder process by preparing necessary reports and charts.
• Formulate budgets for assigned projects and administer vendor contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate, Finance, or a similar discipline.
• 3-5 years of related experience in real estate or finance.
• Basic understanding of real estate and residential land use.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Local real estate knowledge is extremely beneficial.
• Working knowledge of mapping applications.
