This role requires a comprehensive understanding of real property conveyances, title issues, and the negotiation of site control documents. The successful candidate will merge data analysis with real estate insights to enhance strategic planning and decision-making across various markets.

Responsibilities

• Identify land opportunities and obtain landowner information.
• Evaluate sites and perform early-stage diligence.
• Utilize effective techniques for overcoming sales objections.
• Negotiate site control documents such as land lease options, land purchase options, and easement agreements with landowners.
• Maintain a log of all due diligence payments processed to property owners.
• Understand the process for obtaining land and easements necessary for energy development.
• Work within strict deadlines and understand basic real estate legal principles, title, and contract terms.
• Utilize basic mapping software (Google Earth) and GIS skills as needed.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of real estate development data, focusing on market trends and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in land and/or right of way acquisition in the energy, industrial, or commercial industries.
• Strong analytical skills and conflict management abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Time management skills and competence with GIS software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in Industrial Development, Traditional and Renewable Energy, and Data Center Development.
• Familiarity with Google Earth and other GIS software tools.
