About the position

The Land/Easement Acquisition Specialist at Stantec will focus on land and avigation easement acquisition services within the Aviation group. This role is designed for a motivated individual who possesses strong problem-solving and communication skills, and is eager to engage in challenging assignments within a cooperative work environment. The position offers flexibility with hybrid work options, allowing the specialist to work from the Portland office, remote locations, or client sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with land/avigation easement acquisition projects
• Prepare a comprehensive land/easement program in coordination with our client's requirements
• Coordinate with survey, appraisal, and legal subconsultants
• Negotiate with property owners

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and self-initiative to meet deadlines
• Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation
• Ability to take initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other team members
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn other software systems
• Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to perform assignments and duties with minimal supervision
• Valid U.S. Driver's License
• Bachelor's Degree in planning or a directly related field
• 0-5 years of relevant experience with FAA land/avigation easement acquisition programs
