About the position

The Land Planning Analyst position at PG&E Corporation focuses on supporting environmental compliance and project permitting programs. This role involves project screening, program support, process improvement, and documentation, ensuring adherence to environmental guidelines established between PG&E and various state and federal agencies. The analyst will utilize PG&E's computerized information management systems to assess project risks and permitting requirements, while also collaborating with other team members to enhance service delivery and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all work in accordance with PG&E safety goals and practices; complete all required safety training and promote safety awareness.
  • Review new projects received through various portals and SAP, forwarding projects that may require additional field review to the appropriate environmental technical specialist.
  • Use Salesforce and SAP to record project-specific information and maintain project databases, updating them frequently.
  • Research through GIS/GoogleEarth, PG&E records, and public records to determine ownerships, land rights, land uses, constraints, and regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Provide project data to project managers for scheduled reports and audits, and assist in tracking and documenting project-related costs.
  • Ensure complete and technically accurate information is provided in the project database for each completed project, updating project information continuously.
  • May be asked to keep summary cost data for contracted work and document environmental compliance requirements using the SAP portal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Valid California driver's license or ability to obtain by the first day of employment.
  • Experience with standard office computer applications including Excel, Word, or SAP.

  • 2 years of experience with environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
  • Experience with GIS.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
