About the position
The Land Survey CAD Technician position at Finch & Associates is a full-time role focused on supporting the geomatics team. This position offers high growth potential and the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities within a growing firm. The technician will be involved in processing field survey data, preparing mapping, and assisting in the production of engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Process field survey data.
- Prepare complete property & topographic mapping.
- Perform computations for construction layouts.
- Prepare As Built and ALTA Mapping.
- Assist with the production of surveying, design, and/or engineering drawings and documents.
- Follow technical aspects and policies of the department and company.
Requirements
- One year experience using Autodesk or Carlson software.
- Work experience in the surveying field is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively within a team.
- Flexible and forward thinking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
