About the position
Boulder Land Consultants (BLC) is seeking a full-time Project Manager/Drafter to join their team in Boulder, Colorado. This role involves managing and drafting various land surveying projects, including boundary surveys, improvement/architectural surveys, and topographic mapping. The position offers flexibility in work hours once established, emphasizing productivity and professional growth within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Collect field data for boundary surveys, improvement/architectural surveys, and topographic mapping.
- Produce a variety of survey types including boundary, ALTA/NSPS Land Title, and topographic mapping.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for drafting and design work.
- Operate conventional surveying equipment, robotics, and GPS static/RTK systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project success and quality.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address project needs.
Requirements
- Valid Surveyor License (if applicable).
- 4 years of experience in land surveying (preferred).
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with Trimble robotic hardware and software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and self-starter attitude.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
