About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting data, and preparing detailed reports to assist in the planning and execution of construction projects. The Land Surveyor will utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to ensure accurate measurements and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform land surveys using various surveying techniques and equipment, including GPS.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to land features, boundaries, and topography.
• Draft detailed survey plans and maps using software such as ArcGIS and Trimble.
• Collaborate with civil engineers and other professionals to support project development and execution.
• Conduct fieldwork to verify survey data and ensure accuracy in measurements.
• Prepare reports summarizing survey results and recommendations for clients or stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices during all survey activities.
• Ability to run crew for Construction staking, boundary, and topography jobs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in surveying techniques, including the use of GPS technology.
• Experience with data collection methods and drafting software such as ArcGIS or similar tools.
• Strong mathematical skills, particularly in Algebra, to perform calculations related to surveys.
• Ability to work independently in the field as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for interpreting survey data.
• Prior experience in land surveying or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
