Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years as a Crew Chief.
• 5+ years of experience in land surveying, including property, topographic, and construction surveys.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Valid NC driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all phases of fieldwork, including boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys.
• Perform field calculations and prepare detailed sketches.
• Download, verify, and process raw field data.
• Oversee quality control of survey deliverables, including point coordination, field notes, sketches, and plans.
• Supervise and evaluate survey crew members.
• Maintain and manage survey equipment, company vehicles, gas cards, and related expenses.
• Perform routine maintenance of surveying instruments.
• Communicate effectively and follow instructions from management.
