About the position
JAI, an Environmental Land Use Consulting company, is looking for a Licensed Surveyor/Project Manager to oversee survey-related tasks and manage a survey team on various multifaceted projects. The role offers flexible scheduling, including the option to work four 10-hour days and the ability to work from home when completing office work.
Responsibilities
- Manage survey-related tasks and the survey team on multiple projects.
- Conduct various types of surveying including boundary, topographic, ALTA, GPS, subdivisions, and stakeouts.
- Perform survey calculations, measurements, and analysis for assignments.
- Direct and oversee the work of survey team members.
Requirements
- 3 years or more of land surveying experience.
- Eligibility for licensure as a Maine Professional Land Surveyor.
- Comprehensive experience using Carlson or AutoCAD software for drafting and data collection.
- Ability to move freely over rough terrain at various construction sites.
- Clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles.
