About the position

The Landscape Account Manager at SFM Landscape Services is responsible for overseeing multiple job sites and landscape maintenance crews, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency. This role involves maintaining safety standards, enhancing processes, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, while developing strong relationships and managing personnel effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Create work plans and ensure they are followed to meet and exceed customers' expectations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Train and oversee crews, monitoring the quality of work provided.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the operations manager to ensure accurate completion of all maintenance services.
  • Develop team members with best industry practices, maintenance techniques, and company standards.
  • Lead enhancement sales in irrigation, horticulture, and landscape installation services.
  • Resolve customer problems or concerns effectively.
  • Monitor tools, equipment, and machinery for necessary maintenance and repairs.
  • Accurately track and record job expenses and hours worked.
  • Manage personnel to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to Maintenance Crew Members.
  • Enforce company policies and safety procedures rigorously.
  • Ensure that the job site is consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Knowledgeable in various plant materials, including palms and trees.
  • Capable of operating skid steer, backhoe, and loader.
  • Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on quick and thorough resolution.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Florida Pesticide and Fertilizer License preferred, or willingness to obtain one during the probationary period.
  • Landscape industry / horticulture certifications preferred (FNGLA, ISA, LIAF).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
