About The Position

The Landscape Apprentice position at Hazelwood Outdoors involves providing physical labor and support on landscape construction sites. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of Landscaping or Construction experience (Preferred)
• Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record (Preferred)
• Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles (Preferred)
• Fluency in Spanish and English (Preferred)
• Ability to handle materials and equipment responsibly.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in landscape maintenance (Preferred)
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, lubricates, and maintains equipment/tools as assigned.
• Maintains work sites free from debris and dirt.
• Follows directions to operate machinery and load/unload items as identified by the supervisor.
• Operates a variety of equipment/tools such as shovels and rakes.
• Performs unskilled jobs at the work site as needed.
• Assists skilled workers as assigned.
• Works as a helper under the guidance of a job instructor to learn the trade basics.
• Adheres to safety codes and guidelines set by local, state, federal, and company regulations.
• Reports any issues to the supervisor or higher-level employee.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
